PNW Drives Glacier Rally
Friday August 14tH, Saturday August 15th, and Sunday August 16th

Welcome to the official PNW Drives Glacier Rally event page.  The Glacier Rally takes us from WA, through ID, and into Montana where the group will get to drive the famous Going to the Sun Road on day 2 and a group drive back to Seattle on day 3. This is a multi-day trip and requires a club membership or event registration for non-club members to attend.  You have the option to either join as a member which allows you to attend all overnight drives at no additional charge or if you would just like to come out for this one event, you can click the register button below. This event is capped at 50 total vehicles including club members. This helps ensure we keep attendance at a manageable level.

DAY 1: ISSAQUAH TO IDAHO TO MONTANA
Meet Up Time: 8am
Driver’s Meeting: 8:30am
Drive Time: 7hr45min
Total Miles: 504
Day 1 of the Glacier Rally takes us from Burgermaster in Issaquah out to our first stop at a rest area on the way out to Spokane.  Once we hit Idaho, we’ll stop for fuel, stretch our legs, and continue on the rally until we reach Kalispell, MT where we’ll be staying the night.

DAY 2: KALISPELL TO ST. MARY ENTRANCE AND GOING TO THE SUN ROAD TO KALISPELL
Meet Up Time: 8am
Driver’s Meeting: 8:30am
Drive Time: 5hr
Total Miles: 260
Day 2 starts starts at our hotel parking lot and we’ll head east until we reach Sinclair Gas Station at the St. Mary Entrance to Going to the Sun Road.  We’ll stop for fuel, bathrooms, and relax for about 30 minutes before the group heads back west over the Going to the Sun Road.  Once we reach the west entrance, we’ll make our way back to our hotel in Kalispell and relax the rest of the afternoon and night

DAY 3: KALISPELL TO SPOKANE TO SEATTLE

Driver’s Meeting: 8:30am
Drive Time: 7hr45min
Total Miles: 504
Day 3 takes the group from our hotel in Kalispell back west until we reach Spokane where we’ll make our first stop for fuel.  From Spokane, we’ll continue heading west on I-90 until we reach the Seattle area where event attendees can head off on their quickest route back home.

7) New Walkie Talkie to stay on comms with the group

NOTE: Teams are responsible for reserving their own lodging for the trip. This is due to some people having friends or family in the areas we’re visiting and allows teams to stay where they like.  We will post where the main group will be staying in case anyone would like to stay with the rally.  Teams are also responsible for their fuel and food.
